Behind the Curtain

Talented, smart, and charismatic—that pretty much sums up our most recent client, Twig & Olive! I am so honored to be working with them in 2017, to revolutionize the way they conduct business online. Ribbons of Red is in charge of re-branding their entire web presence, from their WordPress website & blog to their online shop. I couldn't be more excited to come along side this talented set of individuals and use clever design to grow their business.

(We also have the same dry, sarcastic sense of humor—which is always a match made in heaven for me!)

Jenn Tai Photo Artistry

Jenn Tai is a Seattle-based wedding and fine art portrait photographer. Her focus is on a documentary style of photography. Having spent 12 years as a journalist, she’s passionate about finding the narrative inside every person she photographs. She takes the time to get to know each couple’s unique style, personality, and biography so she can create a collection of images that reflect their individuality.

When telling the stories of others, your brand should be equally telling of you. Discovering Jenn’s own style, personality, and biography became the focal point of the Jenn Tai Photo Artistry rebrand. One of the most unique things about Jenn’s artistic approach, is that she purposefully numbers the amount of staged and posed photographs at each session and wedding. This allows her to capture her clients candidly and authentically. Her love for quietly documenting and telling the real (non-glamorized) stories of her clients, was the inspiration for her new classic, documentary style look.
